Is this a residential course?

No, however we can provide details of some excellent B&B's, all close by - some within walking distance of Starhouse - and all offering a traditional Dorset welcome. You will be sent a list of B&B's on receipt of your booking.

Are meals included?

Meals are not included, students bring food to share for lunch and breaks between sessions – there are teas and coffee provided in the cozy cabin as well as a fridge and simple cooking facilities. There are good local pubs offering reasonably priced vegetarian food for evening meals.

What does the course fee include?

The fee includes the comprehensive teaching sessions, a telephone tutorial system, the monitoring of practical case studies and also the opportunity to learn from a well-known and respected teachers of women's shamanism. The only extras are a small book list.

What kind of women come for the courses?

Women from 20 - 75, many professional women looking for a change of direction; practitioners wanting to deepen and develop their skills; women whose children having left home are now free to follow this personal quest or improve their relationships, those looking for spiritual evolution, seeking to heal an unhappy past and those drawn to explore our ancient women's heritage

I'm tempted, but nervous. Is it right for me?

It's understandable. We are all nervous when learning about something new... even something like this course, with its potential to change your life so dramatically for the better. Rest assured that you'll be safe and watched over by Eliana and her experienced and sympathetic team of teachers and assistants. We have all done the course, learnt from it and grown with it. Now we can help you.

However you may wish to try a 'taster' in the form of a weekend introductory, or one of the other short courses. Every woman who has done this course has left with renewed confidence and sense of purpose. We know that you'll walk that same path... This is life changing!

what if i need to cancel?

A 100% refund will be issued if you cancel fourteen days or more before your chosen workshop starts, a 50% refund will be issued if you cancel between fourteen and seven days before your chosen workshop starts. There is no refund if you cancel six days or less before your chosen workshop starts. All cancellations will incur a cancellation fee.
